Expected therapeutic effect

A reduction or change in symptoms should be noticeable after two or three weeks of taking Chinese Herbs. This is a sign that the herbs are working. It is not unusual for a dramatic change in symptoms to occur in this time frame, though if this does not occur a minor change in symptoms is still a very good sign that the herbs are the correct dosage & correct choice for your condition. This applies to all conditions, regardless of whether they are acute or chronic.

It is not uncommon for Chinese medicine diagnosis to detect disease early.
